Vehicle description
I bought my Jeep last year as a winter runaround with the intention of modifying it and turning it into an overlander for wild camping, however after spending a lot of time and money over the winter my wife and I have decided we enjoy motorcycle camping more and so have reluctantly decided to sell the Jeep as it just isn't getting used as we have 2 other cars.It has:
*2.5" OME lift kit consisting of springs and shocks (no cheap spacer lift kits)
*JBA front upper control arms with rebuildable ball joints. These were imported from America at a cost of over £600
*Running on Toyo Open Country MT's which are great offroad but if I was keeping it id get a spare set of wheels with some AT's for daily use as the Mud Terrains are noisy on the road.
In the last few months it's had:
*New lower ball joints
*New front hubs
*New track rod ends
*New alternator
*New battery
*New fuel filter
*New thermostat
*Gearbox fluid and filters changed
96k miles and MOT'd until June.
4wd all works as it should in both High and Low range.
While ive mainly concentrated on getting it mechanically sound, cosmetically and structurally its in excellent condition for its age with the exception of the wheels that definatly could do with a refurb.
The underside is in excellent condition having been treated with clear lanoguard by the previous owner.
Bodywork is in excellent condition for the year with no rust but it does have a few scratches and stonechips as you'd expect from a 20 year old jeep.
The only thing left to do on it is replace the front Anti Roll bar bushes as they are past their best and the tracking also needs doing as its slightly out after the track rod ends etc were done. I do have new ARB bushes that will come with the Jeep.
Any questions just ask away. I'm not looking for a px as I already have a other car but I could have my arm twisted
To consider a deal with a mark 1 Audi TT as Ive always fancied one lol.
