For Sale I have my 2009 Vauxhall Astra Sri Sports Hatch.

This has been a great car in my ownership. Ive looked after it well and it has never let me down. I have left the car completely standard; it has never been modified or messed around with and runs exactly as it should. The engine in this is the 1.6 turbo, this is not the standard Astra H you see on the roads, this engine is the same as the one in the Corsa VXR. These are top spec engines and are rarity on the roads. The car is much quicker than the standard Astras most are not turbo charged. It will make a perfect car for someone that wants something under the radar and a sporty sleeper most people dont expect it to be turbo charged.

The car has a few minor body work scuffs which I have tried to show in the photos. They are all age related, no crash damage etc. Alloys have seen better days, curbed and scuffed by the previous owner, never bothered me so never fixed them! 3 paint work dents, one on the roof and one on the bonnet, Ive tried to show how big they are in the photos by comparing them to a 20p. There is one more mark under the passenger side mirror, which I have never had the time to sort out.

The car was involved in a non-fault accident, which was damage to the front end of the car, I have all invoices of the work carried out at Rye Street Bishops Stortford in 2018. The care is not categorised, only mentioning for the sake of the new owner.

Car has Hankook Ventus v12 evo 2s fitted all round; the back set will need changing in a few months. 2 keys, both with open and close buttons. I have also fitted a Pioneer head unit, if I can find the original head unit you can have both if the car sells for a good price. Sport button really wakes the car up, loosens the steering and tightens the throttle response. 57,007 miles on the clock, this will continue to rise as still using it as a daily driver to work and on the weekends. No bad lights on the dashboard, no engine smells, no engine knocks, runs perfectly. Always kept topped up with oil. Spare wheel in the boot as pictured, badges are still good. No obvious signs of rusting or mould inside, rubber window seals still good. Team Heko window deflectors, no rust on exhaust. New driver and passenger side speakers (Kenwood KFC-PS1795).

Downsides:
Aircon doesnt work never bothered me, never fixed.
Alloys need a refurb.
Minor paintchips.
No parcel shelf.

Selling at a higher price due to the well looked after and rarity of this car, something different to the average Vauxhall on the roads. This is running stock 177bhp. No test drives, but I am willing to take serious buyers out for a spin. Message for more details or photos.

Low insurance for a hot hatch, so it is great for a first-time sporty car. New MOT until December 2023
