Our much loved 2CV6 we've had nine since August 1978 when the love affair with them started!She's a DOLLY and is called 'La Poppette' or 'Poppy' and was first registered on 1 June 1988. She's in great condition inside and out, runs like a dream and has a very unique and stylish silver and black paintwork - changed from her original red & white back in 2001. She has a brand new MOT until June 2025 and has covered just under 75,000 genuine miles in her 36 years.
We have extensive historic documention of repairs and servicing with nearly every MOT since 1991. She has brand new tyres all round and recently had a new roof and bumpers fitted as well as numerous authentic silver trim accessories including: stone guards on all wings, inner and outer wheel covers, door, sill and bonnet trims, front grill and head light covers and top of the range rear boot rack. She also has the benefit of a fully operational tow bar for small trailers.
My wife and I bought her in early 2022 specifically to use for our eldest son's wedding to take the bride to church and then the bride and groom to the reception and was a huge hit with guests as she really does look like a wedding limo! Consequently since then, we've provided wedding car services for numerous local weddings charging £250 - £350 each time little did we know she was actually going to earn her keep as well as the pleasure of owning and driving her!
'Poppy' is offered for sale (to include her very sought after personal Reg No plate of 'C2V GB' ) for £9950 or without Reg No for £8000 - we have a current Agreed Valuation for £8000 from Lancashire Insurance for this amount.
