So here for sale, is my sons Seat Ibiza.
This has been his first car, and owned for just under 2 years.
We bought it for him as , once passed his test, he wanted a black 5 door car.
This came up, and thats what he got.
He's loved this car, i honestly thought he'd keep it for ever,
But, this afternoon,Ive just collected a newer, lower mileage 2010 polo in flame red , with the same engine and gearbox in , which he's take a shine to
So now we have his Ibiza, I've listed on his behalf, to settle the debt for the polo, kids are great
- ENGINE:
Fitted with my favourite small engine ,
The 3 cylinder 1.2 " chain driven " petrol engine.I like this so much, my son has just changed this Seat Ibiza to a vw polo, both with the same engine.
Cheap, economical and easy to fix, and NO cam belts either, fabulous
Accelerates as it should from its whopping 69 horses,
No rattles or bangs,
The car changes gears as it should.
He's not done that much mileage , 10k in 2 years, but he was the nominated driver over xmas when i had an operation, so trips to Birmingham, Norfolk all done with ease in this car
Plus 18 months of school running for himself and his two younger siblings, lovely
The car does drive well, and as per normal with parents and children's cars, anything its needed, I've footed the bill for, so trouble free motoring
Fairly good build as well, almost like a Vw
- EXTERIOR:
Where do I start,
Finished in "the colour to have " Glacier white, with graphite grey alloy wheels, the car really does look well.
There really isn't much to mention on the exterior,
There is the odd stone chip here and there, small scratch etc, as per most small engined cars of this age.
The worst part is a graze type dent to the passenger side quarter, where, just after passing his test, he grazed next doors metal fence.The fence lived to fight another day,
On the Ibiza, most of the damage and scratching polished out, but there is an indent still there, see photos.
And thats about it, the car really is as clean as it looks on the photos, No bumper scuffs, wow !!
Graphite grey alloys are a bit kerbed, but they never bothered him
Just valeted, and he's even removed his secret stash of fruit pastels
- INTERIOR:
The Ibiza is finished in red/grey/black sports like seats
Bolsters are in good condition, drivers seat has been stitched up.,
There are a couple of holes here and there, just being honest, its his car !
But all the seats are in great condition,
The steering wheel was a bit marked, and so my wife hand stitched a lovely new leather steering wheel cover, that still looks like new, see photos.
- SERVICE HISTORY:
The car arrived from sunny Scotland with zero history.
So over £500 of my hard earned, got the car through its first mot, mainly brakes and fresh tyres, and a service.
Last year was slightly better, £300 this time , another service and a lamba sensor, and rear brakes.
This year even better. £150..
But please remember this is a chain driven car, so NO cambelt to change or worry about getting done straight after purchase

Really low Insurance group 3-4,
The car costs £180 of your hard earned to tax for 12m, or just £99 for 6months
The car does 58mpg on a run, or 37.8mpg around town

The car is located in a small village,
3 miles east of lincoln city centre ,
So great for "No traffic" test drives..

Having spent 18 years in the motor trade, owning our own business as a car painter and refinisher, time and mainly my back and knees caught up with me !
So now we source and sell cars direct from the trade we used to work with.
All cars are driven a minimum of 40 miles, so we can assess the creeks and groans.
Most cars ( unless listed as spares or repairs) are sold with a minimum of 6 months MOT, but preferably with a fresh 12 months MOT for peace of mind.
Where possible we source full service history cars.
Our stock changes daily, mainly due to the lower margins we charge to create a higher volume.
I do love the Vw group cars,( VW, Audi, Seat, Skoda ) so you will see a lot of those, plus the smaller engine , cheap to tax and insure cars.
