This is a genuine mk1 Golf GTi as shown on the current V5C. Starting its life as a road car moving to circuit racing where it won the VAG Trophy outright. It was swiftly converted into a Rally car and went on to win Goodwood Festival of Speed along with countless trophies along the way in Rallying. Homologated by age and MUK passport as a rally car this green frog can easily be moved into any form of four wheel racing. Its last event was Firle Beacon hillclimb where it performed above its bigger powered friends.
