An incredible opportunity to purchase an as new VAT Free Defender 90 Hard Top in incredibly collectable base specification but with factory metallic paint
Provenance:
Built in 2015 towards the end of production to UK Specification it was supplied new on January 5th 2016 by Hunter's Land Rover of Chester to its first keeper to add to his collection. As a collector they were keen to maximise their investment so the vehicle was taken straight to their climate-controlled storage facility where it would remain until 2021, only venturing out for scheduled maintenance with the supplying dealer. In the spring of 2021, we managed to prise the keys from the first owner with just 75 miles on the clock and quickly sold the vehicle to another local collector. They have only added another 100 miles during their tenure only ever driving the vehicle in the dry.
Perfectly stored with the just 180 Miles, one previous owner and a documented service record with the supplying dealer and ourselves this really is as good as it gets. The car is supplied with all booklets and instructions in the original leather book pack. All keys are present as are the tools and the vehicle still wears the original dealer plates and stickers
Exterior:
Having been perfectly stored the Santorini Black Metallic is in fantastic order throughout with perfect factory shut lines and a deep glossy finish. The solid white contrasting roof is also unmarked undamaged. The white factory spec steel wheels unmarked and still fitted with the correct tyres. This really is a collector quality cosseted vehicle.
Interior:
The interior is absolutely as new. Whilst spartan it's a fabulous place to reside and harks back to an era of simpler motoring. The rear tub has never been used and is consequently totally free from scratches or dents.
Underneath:
Perhaps even more remarkable than the incredible condition of the paint work and trim is the underside of the vehicle. It could easily have just rolled straight off the factory floor, with factory wax and markings still in place it is an incredible testament to the care this 90 has received.
